The table aside me had the waffles, those were bigger. This was – even for me being used to European standards – not that much food. The breakfast is cooked to order, I took the double egg option, that was served with 1 toast and a small fruit bowl. I booked including breakfast, and you get a coupon in that case. Something to be aware of: the kitchen closes early – my only choice left was a Cesar salad – and I had to negotiate a little to get it (9:45 PM). The decoration is typical Indigo style – read: with a big photo as wall paper, cozy interior. The bathroom has no bath, ‘only’ a shower, but that is perfectly fine for me. The rooms are very big, clean, with excellent bed. Apart from that: the hotel is really nice, located in an older building. I was surprised by this high level, opened google maps and found out there is a parking tower just aside the hotel. I made a reservation in this hotel, and received an email later stating parking is valet only and 38$. Overall, the stay was fine, but I think there may be better options to stay in Downtown Dallas.… No "Do not Disturb" or "Please Make Up My Room" sign in the room. Bed was only made once and none of the soaps etc replaced when empty. The hand sanitiser next to the main elevator on the ground floor remained empty for my entire stay, which made me doubt the "IHG Clean Promise".
CHEAP RATES ON HOTEL INDIGO DALLAS DOWNTOWN WINDOWS
At night locals appear to like revving their cars loudly and creating a lot of noise, and as the hotel room windows are not soundproofed, this could be problematic for light sleepers, or those who don't like loud, obnoxious cars. As mentioned, the information provided by reception relating to the restaurant was incorrect. No information provided in room, such as information on food and dining, laundry or general hotel information. Reception suggested I go to an Irish bar around the corner for dinner. This was despite the information provided at check in that it would be open daily for dinner. Some negatives: The restaurant and bar was closed on two of the three nights I stayed. There isn't much else around other than car parks and office towers. You can walk to Dealey Plaza and the Sixth Floor Museum. If I can be of any assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Again we deeply apologize for the inconvenience, and hope you will give us another opportunity to serve you in the future. If this was not done we will reach out to them. In addition to this should have also refunded any monies you paid them. Again this was told to, who you booked the reservation with. We did not have rooms with two beds available, and we would not have been able to fulfill the bed type, even if we did not relocate you. The hotel had to contractually fulfill its obligation. To further explain what happened, the hotel has a Multi-year contract with a group, that has been in place since 2017. That is not something the hotel would do and would be considered unethical. This was not about cancelling reservation to make more money as you noted. Which looked like she was able to get you are the element.

Dawn did step in to try to assist, in the rebooking process with another hotel that assisted us with this issue.

Normally when we notify a third part booking agent, they are supposed to contact you and move your reservation without our interaction, as you booked the reservation through them not us. They were no much help in the relocation process. We did notify, which is who you booked the reservation with. This error allowed rooms to be booked, despite the hotel being sold out. Unfortunately we are having to relocate guest, due to a computer error.

Good afternoon Q5121Hpnacyo, I am deeply sorry for this experience.
